Board of Directors


Eric Rutherford
President


Eric Rutherford was raised in Boulder and has been active in the local real estate market for eleven years both as a Real Estate Broker and an investor.
 
A graduate of Fairview High School, he attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from the FBI Academy in Virginia (elected class president as well as the graduation speaker) and worked as a Federal Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration in Texas.
 
A lifetime athlete, Eric enjoys mountaineering and a variety of sports. He was the Naval Academy football team captain and on October 19, 2009 Eric was chosen to be on the USNA 50 year anniversary football team.
Having traveled throughout Latin American and the world, Eric has broad cross-cultural experience and is fluent in Spanish. He has a talent for hunting down good investments and is a firm believer that integrity is the basis for any relationship. Personable, hardworking, and effective, graduated in 2004 from the University of Colorado with a Masters in Business Administration.

Eric is married to Brenda, and they have a girl named Paloma, a boy named Kai and a baby girl named Camila.
 
 
Patrick Weeks
Vice President

 
Patrick joined Gibbons-White, Inc. in August of 2006. Dedicated and hard working, he is excited to be a part of such a dynamic team of brokers who are passionate about their work and highly skilled at what they do. Serving as a board member of the Commercial Brokers of Boulder, Patrick is very knowledgeable and highly involved in the Boulder market.
 
The youngest of five children, Patrick was raised in Northern California. Moving to Boulder, CO in 1999, he found his new home. Boulder offers close proximity to all of the various outdoor activities that he loves including hiking, snowboarding, backpacking, and biking.
 
Patrick graduated from California State University at Chico with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Sociology and was a member of the history honors society, Phi Alpha Theta.
 
Patrick has traveled extensively through South East Asia, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Travel is one of his greatest passions and one that he will continue to pursue throughout his life.
 
 
Scott Dale
Past President

Scott S. Dale graduated from the University of Colorado in 1978 with a B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering. He has been a licensed real estate broker since 1981. He was founder and President of Scottsdale Homes, Inc. in 1985 and later formed Scottsdale Commercial in 1996. His experience with those companies was primarily construction and development with an emphasis in later years as commercial development for his own account along with partners. His projects have received numerous prestigious awards such as the Governor’s Smart Growth Award, Best Commercial Site Design from the Boulder County Commissioners, and numerous homebuilding awards including Builder of the Year.
 
Scott has experience and expertise in all aspects of real estate including development, construction, brokerage, leasing, management, and tenant relations. Scott has served on a number of Boards of Directors including the Emergency Family Assistance Association, Commercial Brokers of Boulder, Metropolitan Denver Homebuilder’s Association, and the Boulder County Chapter of the Homebuilder’s Association. He is the 2009 president of the Commercial Brokers of Boulder trade association.
 
Scott was a commercial real estate broker with Gibbons White Commercial Real Estate from 2003-2008 working on a variety of transactions ranging from office leasing to investment sales of up to $15,000,000. His company which is now Scottsdale Properties started managing commercial properties in 2004 and now manages over 250,000 square feet in the Denver metro area. In his spare time, Scott is a dad, singer-songwriter and recording artist, and enjoys telemark skiing, golf, fly fishing, and cycling.
 
 
Dryden Dunsmore
Treasurer

Dryden Dunsmore joined Dean Callan & Company in 2004 after graduating from the University of Colorado, where he earned degrees in finance and psychology. At Dean Callan and Company, Dryden focuses on commercial leasing and sales, representing both landlord and tenant. He brings the same honest, professional, and ethical approach to business that is established with every Dean Callan and Company relationship. He is an avid hunter and enjoys backpacking and golf.
 
 
Anya Allen
Secretary

Colorado native Anya Allen began work at The Colorado Group in 2007, where she joined the team of principals B. Scot Smith and Wade Arnold. Additionally, in 2008, Anya went on board with principals Neil Littman and W. Scott Reichenberg, while continuing with Smith and Arnold. Having a strong background in marketing and sales, Anya focuses primarily on office, retail and industrial leasing, as well as investment and land sales.
 
Anya is currently working on achieving the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. She is a graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado; her degree in business administration emphasized marketing and real estate. She was awarded a Colorado Real Estate Broker’s license following graduation.
 
Anya has worked with the region’s largest commercial developer, The W.W. Reynolds Companies in Boulder. She has over a decade of experience in retail marketing, sales and purchasing for companies in Steamboat Springs and Boulder.
 
Anya is an avid outdoors enthusiast whose recreational passions include snowboarding, skiing, fly-fishing, hiking and traveling the world.
 
 
Ryan Blasdell
Board Member

Ryan Blasdell joined Dean Callan & Company in 2007. He has previous corporate tenant advisory experience with national clients such as The University of Phoenix, The Shaw Group, Marsh & McLennan Companies and FedEx. At Dean Callan & Company, Ryan specializes in Landlord and Tenant representation throughout Boulder County and the surrounding area. His competitive nature and ethical approach have allowed him to establish long term relationships in the Boulder market. Ryan brings a high level of strategic and creative planning approaches as well as aggressive negotiating to each deal.
 
Ryan is originally from Hawaii. He is an avid skier, triathlete (Ironman Finisher), and was a member of the SMU rugby team. Ryan has volunteered with the Special Olympics and has raised thousands of dollars for the Children's AT Project.
 
 
Nate Litsey
Board Member

Nate is a Boulder native who attended Fairview High School and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado. He began working at W.W. Reynolds in April of 2004 as a property manager and joined Chad Henry on the leasing team in August of 2008. Nate is an avid motorcycle enthusiast who also enjoys skiing and traveling.
 
 
Fred Thrall
Board Member

Fred Thrall is Manager of Fred Thrall, LLC, providing commercial building inspections in the greater Denver, Colorado area. Mr. Thrall has 40 years experience in commercial real estate development & construction, including:
 
•8 years as COMMERCIAL BUILDING INSPECTOR: Mr. Thrall has conducted Property Condition Assessments and Capital Reserve Evaluations of hundreds of commercial buildings ranging from 1,200 to 270,000 square feet, including medical buildings, educational buildings, industrial & heavy manufacturing buildings, retail buildings and office buildings. In addition, he has advised clients in the construction of commercial buildings from 700 to 400,000 square feet.
•8 years as ASSET MANAGER: Mr. Thrall handled retail, office & industrial lease transactions of up to $85,000,000 in value, such as Maxtor Corporation (450,000 SF office and R & D). In addition, he directed a facilities crew maintaining a portfolio of 42 buildings (1,700,000 square feet) of manufacturing & office space.
•4 years as DEVELOPER: Mr. Thrall managed the construction of projects such as One Bethesda Center (12-story 340,000 SF urban mixed-use center).
•15 years as CONTRACTOR: Mr. Thrall managed the construction of projects such as Kettering Jr. High School (135,000 SF) and Landover Industrial Center (225,000 SF).
 
Fred has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from George Mason University as well as a BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
